From my experience - even 5 minute "sample" sessions help to reduce stress significantly.

Have the person sit comfortably on a chair with both feet on the ground. Tell them to close their eyes and take a few deep breaths and allow their body to sink into the chair.
Begin by connecting yourself to the Reiki energy and then place your hands on the shoulders. Continue to the top of the head (crown). Move to the side of the chair and go to the third eye - one hand on forehead and one hand on the back of the head. Proceed along the Chakras - front and back hands parallel (hover above throat, breasts and base chakra to avoid embarassment and discomfort).
