: I’m a Reiki practitioner in Southern California and I am inviting as many Reiki and Energy Healers as possible, as well as people who use prayer as a vehicle for healing, to get involved in a day of healing. : : The purpose is two-fold: : First: To create a coordinated and powerful healing on our world for suffering caused by violence. On a specific hour of healing on September 12, 2004, the exercise in compassion will commence on whom you feel you are called to heal in our world. On Sept. 11th there will also be a preceding candlelight vigil in which you may also want to participate, the candle will represent the symbolization the hope for the world in the power of healing that each one of us possesses, as well as anything else you may bring to it (being that it is 9-11). : Second: To shift the present day world conception of Reiki and Energy Healing, i.e. to bring awareness of our healing practices to the public, in addition to the healing hour itself, there is an invitation for you to extend time on that day for education and healing at an advertised location.
