Ama Deus Shamanic Healing
Ama Deus, meaning ‘I love God,’ is a heart-centered spiritual practice associated with the Guarani people of central Brazil. It was introduced to Western students by Alberto Aguas, a Brazilian healer who studied alongside Guarani shamans.
A heart-centered tradition
The system combines intention, attunement and a series of traditional symbols. Its teachings describe the practitioner as a channel for God’s love and invite a gentle, reflective relationship with personal spiritual practice.
