History of the Golden Triangle Healing System, written by James J. Purner, founder.
James Purner wrote that, in 1986, he received two visions which led him to become more involved in spiritual and emotional support for others. During a period of deep Buddhist meditation, he described seeing a figure riding across the desert, who told him that the time had come and that guidance would be available when asked for.
About six months later, Purner described another meditation-related experience in which he came to understand the Goddess Isis as the source of the energy. In his account, he gradually began to share this practice with others and later felt instructed to teach and attune others to the system.
Purner described the practice as similar to Reiki or Seichim and said it could be used alongside other energy practices. He wrote that he visualised a golden triangle at the third eye and asked for the recipient’s consent before proceeding. The symbol, he said, was a Golden Triangle or Pyramid which spins during use.

The Golden Triangle Healing System was developed by spiritual healer and Reiki Master James Purner. According to the system’s tradition, he received guidance on its use and on attuning others during extensive meditation practices associated with the Goddess Isis.
The Golden Triangle is presented as an Egyptian-inspired spiritual technique. Students may explore it as a contemplative practice, either on its own or alongside other energy-work traditions. Experiences vary from person to person.
The tradition describes focusing at the third eye after an attunement and inviting the Golden Triangle Pyramid imagery. Some practitioners describe visual or felt experiences, while others do not.
